Bleeding sun

Below is branding created for a fictional music festival, Bleeding Sun, located in Durham, NC.

Everything was created by myself including the name, logo, designs, and brief.

How it started

Bleeding Sun was started by three friends who had 3 different tastes in music but wanted to go to a music festival together. They often would go to a lot of different concerts together but only one or two would really enjoy it or know the music.

They created Bleeding Sun to have 5 stages with 5 different genres of music at each one: EDM, Hip Hop, Pop, Punk Rock, and Indie Rock. All of them were from Durham NC and decided to make this festival accessible for the younger crowd in the Triangle area, that being Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill. These places are also main points for a lot of upcoming local artists which is something that Bleeding Sun values as well.The goal was to encourage diversity and differences among people.
